Myakka Wildlife Tours in Sarasota, FL. used to host the world’s largest covered airboats before they were retired nearly a year ago. The boats were two identical twin boats named Myakka Maiden and Gator Gal. The vessels stretched a whole 53-feet long and 16-feet wide, and each could seat up to 57 people! Just as a smaller airboat, these had shallow hulls and were powered by air, so could venture into the shallow grassy areas that other boats cannot get to.
